SUSSEX LOSES SECOND STRAIGHT ONE-RUN GAME

Sussex, NJ – 6/20/10 - Pittsfield scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning and never trailed en route to a 4-3 win over Sussex. Colonials starting pitcher Kyle Zaleski allowed one run on four hits while striking out a pair in seven innings to earn the win and improve to 2-1 on the year. Pittsfield LF Rafael Cabreja was 3-for-4 with a double to lead the way at the plate, while RF Daniel Carte and 1B Jerod Edmondson each drove in a pair to power the Colonials. Pittsfield reliever Patrick Moran tossed a scoreless ninth to earn his first save.
