SKYHAWKS SHAKE UP ROSTER
With the 2010 season quickly approaching, the Skyhawks have made multiple roster changes to preparation for a successful 2010 season.
RHP Jusef Frias joins the Skyhawks after spending the 2009 season with the Worcester Tornadoes. Frias went 4-2 for the Tornadoes. Prior to joining Worcester, Frias spent four years in the New York Mets organization.
Rookie LHP Matt Gianini, a CT native, joins the Skyhawks after spending the last two years in the United Baseball League and the Continental Baseball League.
In addition to the new signees, the Skyhawks have traded the rights of the following players:
· Justin Knoff and Kyle Ruwe to Rockford (Northern League)
· Chris Kelly to Chico (Golden League)
· Greg Lane and Carter Clements to Lincoln (American Association).
